Lucky F*ck Energy Drink – The Review

DisclosureI received a 10 pack of these drinks for free in exchange for an honest review. An affiliate link for this product will appear in the body of this article.

The cans are about the size of a Monster Energy Drink just to give you an idea – about 19oz.

I tried the Orange first. You definitely smell and taste the orange and on first sip, it was pretty good. Then the aftertaste hit.

I mention aftertaste not only because it is so strong, but because the marketing on the box specifically says “No Aftertaste.” The aftertaste is basically the sucralose they use in place of sugar to keep the calories down and it is quite strong in my opinion. Regular energy drink consumers may not notice it so much since they are used to it. I don’t have them often so it was very apparent to me that they used sucralose.

I moved on to the Red Ryder Punch. As with the Orange, the initial taste is pretty good…then that darn sucralose hits.

It really is unfortunate that the taste of sucralose kills this drink for me. I was hoping this brand had figured out a good way to cover it up, but it’s still there. For seasoned energy drink people, you all may like this. As for me, I’d pass since I can’t make it past the aftertaste.
