We’ve been through a few names because, well, we’re terrible at it (Old names include With10Cubes and Slimword). I guess I should say I am terrible at it, but I have gotten in the habit of saying we when talking about this little venture I have going.
I’ve been in the trading card world for over 3 decades, starting in baseball cards when I was a tiny human. As a bigger human, I branched out into Football and basketball cards and finally settled on Trading Card Games such as Yugioh, Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and many others.
I infamously threw away a huge shoebox of Magic cards from the mid 90s when I was moving and yes, I still feel that sting of regret.
(The above statement is not a joke.)
Back in about 2016, I started getting back into Yugioh. I had taken a break from it after playing it and (mostly) organizing tournaments for it from 2002 to about 2008 mostly in the Austin, Texas area. I have organized and judged dozens, if not hundreds of events, including locals, regionals, and even judged Shonen Jump Championship tournaments which have since be rebranded as YCS.
After getting the bug to play and collect again, I decided to start selling singles and some sealed product about 2 years ago and have been doing that since. Over the 2 years, my collection / inventory has grown tremendously as has my selection of card games I sell.
I sell on sites such as TCGPlayer.com and also on eBay, but am in the process of designing and opening my own online store which will sell trading cards, sports cards, books, videos, music, and possibly more.
